This is just not true... San Jose is not on Pittsburgh's level right now.

Cap hit is important. I wouldn't give Bonino a penny over 3.5 mil. I can stomach a 4 mil deal due to our good cap situation, but anything more would be an issue. Bonino isn't that good, and it really showed this year. He has half a season and the playoffs last year of showing a really high level of hockey play (granted it was with an electric Kessel) and the rest he's just been fine.

He was drafted by the Bruins and since the B's are allergic to talen, they traded him.

PLEASE tell me no one is truly considering under 5 mill is a legit offer for Jumbo. I wouldn't offer more than 1.5 for 1 year for him.

Pay Bonino. 4 years, 3.5 - 4 per.
